Is there a minimum amount of
time that we have to rent?
Our minimum rental is 3 nights.
What
deposits are required?
Reservation deposit: Perinton RV Rental Inc. requires a $ 250.00
reservation deposit on all rentals due at the time off booking ($25 deposit required for utility trailers). The reservation
deposit is non-rfundable and will be applied to your total balance. Upon pick-up $500 security deposit is required
on all campers ($800 security deposit required for motorhomes). The security deposit is refundable, subject to rental terms
and conditions compliance. Refundable within 7 business days of return providing the vehicle is clean (inside and outside),
holding tanks are empty, gas tank full and the vehicle is not damaged or abused.
Is there a charge for
the generator?
Yes. The generator charge is $4 per hour, 4 hours are included with your rental.
You can save on this expense by staying in locations that have electrical hookups and not leaving the generator running when
you are not in the vehicle.
What kind of gas mileage will we get?
Mileage depends on the size of the motorhome and the driving conditions. Generally, you will get between
7 and 11 miles per gallon.
Do I need a special driver's license to drive a motorhome?
All you need is to be 25 years of age or older and possess a valid driver's license. No special endorsement
is needed.
Do you have "one way" rentals?
Currently
at Perinton RV Rental Inc. we do not have a "one way" rental option.
I
saw a picture of a motorhome with a garage in the back. Do you rent those?

RV Rental Inc. we do not carry this type of motorhome. We are constantly updating our fleet, so check back soon.
Is it difficult to drive a motorhome?
No, Motorhomes handle
much like a car.
Are motorhomes difficult to hook up?
No.
At departure you will be given a 30-45 minute familiarization tour and learn how to hook it up and operate appliances.
Does the motorhome come with a TV, VCR or stereo?
Most of our motorhomes come equipped with a TV / VCR / STEREO entertainment center. Check the details
of the motorhome you are interested in to make sure.
Are there rollout awnings on
the motorhome?
Yes, most of our motorhome come equipped with a roll-out awning. Check the
details of the motorhome you are interested in to make sure.
Are
pets allowed in the motorhomes?
Sorry. In order for us to keep our units immaculately clean,
we cannot allow pets in the motorhomes.
How do I pay for the rental?
All fees are payable by cash, certified bank check, travelers checks or on a major credit card (MasterCard
or Visa).
Can I tow my car or boat behind the motorhome?
We
do not allow towing at this time.
How much does it cost to stay in campgrounds?
Campground rates vary based on time of year and what facilities they offer. Generally you can expect to pay
between $10 and $50 per night.
What kind of facilities might a campground offer?
A partial list of commonly found facilities would include: electric, water, sewer hook-ups, washer, dryer,
swimming pool, playground, BBQ pits, on-site convenience store.
What if I return
the vehicle before the date it is due?
No refunds will be made for early returns, late pick
ups or unused miles.
Do you have baby car seats and cribs available?
No. Please plan to bring your own car seats.
Is it safe to drink
the water from the motorhome tank?
No, we do not recommend this. It is difficult to know if
the water is potable when you fill the tank at a variety of locations. We recommend you use bottled water for drinking and
cooking. The water from the tank is fine for washing and bathing.
Is there a ladder
so we can get on the roof to watch the race?
We do not have ladders on the RV for safety reasons
and to prevent damage to the motorhome.
Are there levelers provided?
No, not at this time..
Can you pick me up/ drop me off at the airport?
You must arrange your own transportation to and from the airport. You may call the rental center where you
are picking up for recommendations of transit options.
What if I have to cancel my
reservation?
The $250 reservation deposit is non-refundable.
Why
should I rent an RV rather than stay at a hotel or motel?
Traveling in an RV / motorhome allows
you to drive in comfort with all facilities on board. The full kitchen allows the passenger to serve up beverages and snacks
while enjoying the beautiful scenery. If you are feeling tired or see a view or attraction that you would like to stop at
and enjoy, you can do it! Get refreshed and go on your way. There are many RV / motorhome facilities available to stop at
the end of a day.... state parks, KOA parks, and many others. You can plan your trip ahead or make your reservations along
the way. When you travel in an RV / motorhome there is no packing or unpacking.... everything is there in its place just like
home. No early checkout time... stay wherever you like as long as you like. Get back on the road at your convenience. The
freedom offered in an RV / motorhome while traveling and vacationing is wonderful... it is an experience not to miss. If you
have never vacationed in a motor home, you are in store for a treat!
How early should
we reserve an RV / motorhome?
It is a good idea to reserve the unit of your choice as soon
as you know when you plan to take your trip.

Do you allow
smoking in the motorhomes?
No. All of our units are strictly nonsmoking.
Will the TV's work while driving?
Yes. Most of the units have TV's that will work while
in transit. Some units also have, DVD's, and VCR's that also work while the motorhome is moving.
Is the motorhome self-contained?
Yes. All of our units are 100% self-contained. Our motorhomes
have on-board generators for power, complete kitchens, and fully-functional restrooms.
Where can I service my holding tank?
Most campgrounds and truck stops have waste disposal
facilities to drain both your black and gray tanks.
